The townships of Blackall and Tambo are situated on the historic Barcoo River and visitors will experience the warm welcome and hospitality the outback is renowned for. Our history is a story of pioneers and resilience through drought, fire and flood. Sheep, wool and cattle have kept our communities vibrant and proud. Situated on the Landsborough highway there is much to experience and see.

The Blackall-Tambo Regional Council is providing an opportunity for organisations to apply for in-kind support and sponsorship funding for the 2021/2022 financial year.
This opportunity is open to organisations in the Blackall-Tambo region. Applicants must apply using the appropriate forms available on Council’s website or by contacting the Customer Service Officers on 07 4621 6600.
