DRAFT REGIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE PRIORITIES – BLACKALL-TAMBO
Regional Development Australia, a Commonwealth agency, requested each Council to submit its priorities for regional infrastructure, as;
·        Its top five priorities.
·        Its top five priorities in each of six areas.
The priorities provided are attached.
Extra road funding was not requested as;
·        Council has recently secured significant new road funding through the Regional Roads Alliance, and
·        The capacity of Council staff to build more roads is limited.
Given the proposed new Commonwealth regional infrastructure funding, community feedback is urgently requested on these priorities.
Feedback to the Council CEO is requested by close of business Friday 8 October 2010 so that feedback can be collated for the Council meeting on Wednesday 13 October 2010. Feedback is requested by letter to PO Box 21 Blackall 4472 or by email to ceo@btrc.qld.gov.au
