Council is hosting Lifeguard and Bronze Medallion Training in Blackall at the Aquatic Centre

Saturday 11 February – 8.30am to 4.30pm

Sunday 12 February – 8.30am to 4.30pm

Bronze Medallion - $250.00 per person – 1 day course

Pool Lifeguard - $450.00 per person – 2 day course

 

The prerequisite is a current first aid certificate.

 

The swim requirement for the Bronze Medallion is 400m in 13 mins

The swim requirement for the Pool Lifeguard is 200m in 6 mins.

The lifeguard also covers the use of the spinal board and the oxygen equipment where the Bronze does not.
