The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is a highly successful state and local government partnership that supports professional and emerging professional artists and art practitioners living in regional Queensland. Established in 1991, the RADF program focuses on the development of quality art and arts practice for, and with regional communities. RADF is a partnership between the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland and Councils to support local arts and culture.

The program funds one-off, short term projects that offer professional arts, culture and heritage opportunities. Our local Council bids for an annual allocation of funding for the region from arts Queensland which is managed by Council and a committee of Community volunteers.

Over the past twenty years workshops and projects have been supported by this program in many areas of skill development and art forms including; Painting in differing media, Lead-lighting, Hat Making, Photography, Furniture Restoration & Woodwork, Theatre, Music, Silver-smithing, Glass fusing, Pottery, Sewing & Quilting, Hebel Sculpture and Resin craft.
