Proposed Subordinate Local Laws 2026 – Have Your Say

Blackall-Tambo Regional Council is proposing updates to its subordinate local laws, which provide rules and guidance on:
  • Administration of Council activities
  • Animal management
  • Community and environmental management
  • Use of Council-controlled areas, facilities, and roads
The proposed laws update and modernise the 2010 versions to reflect current practices and legislative requirements. Some provisions may affect how certain commercial activities are managed, so Council is conducting a public interest test.

The community is invited to provide feedback. Submissions can be made in writing and must be received by Friday, 13 March 2026.

How to view the proposed laws:
  • Copies are available for inspection from 9:00am - 4:00pm weekdays at:
  • 6 Coronation Drive, Blackall
  • 21 Arthur Street, Tambo
  • Printed copies may be purchased at our administration offices as well. 
  • Copies are available online now via the Local Laws page of the website.
