Community Grants Program
The Blackall-Tambo Regional Council Community Grants Program supports local community organisations to deliver projects, events and activities that strengthen our region and align with Council’s strategic priorities.
The program recognises the vital role community groups and volunteers play in building a progressive, liveable and sustainable region where Council and community work together to meet the challenges of living in a remote area.
Council provides $200,000 annually through two funding rounds each year (March and August), with $100,000 available per round across two categories:
-
Minor Grants: Up to $2,000
-
Major Grants: $2,001 – $15,000
Community groups can apply for funding between $500 and $15,000.
(Please note: Arts and Cultural projects should apply through Council’s RADF grant rounds.)
