When travelling throughout rural Queensland:

- Conditions can change quickly following rain.
- Do not drive through floodwater.
- Carry sufficient fuel, food and drinking water.
- Advise someone of your travel plans when travelling long distances or on remote roads.
- Drive to conditions and obey all road closure signage.
