As cattle sales resume for the 2026 season, Blackall-Tambo Regional Council is pleased to announce the completion of important upgrades to the canteen facilities at the Blackall Saleyards.
The improvements enhance functionality and presentation, helping bring the Blackall Saleyards in line with the standards of some of Queensland’s leading selling centres. The upgraded space provides a more comfortable and efficient environment for buyers, vendors and visitors on sale days.
This project forms part of Council’s ongoing asset management program and has been delivered with support from the Blackall Livestock Auction Association. Council looks forward to another strong season of cattle sales and continued investment in this vital regional facility.
