Round 1 of the Community Grants Program is Open Published on 01 September 2025 Sporting clubs and community organisations can apply for funding for a particular project starting from as little as $500 and up to a maximum of $15,000. For any amount over $2001, organisations will be asked to co-contribute. eg. for amounts $2100 to $5000, 25% of project costs will need to come from other sources and $5001 to $15,000 it will be 50%. Community Bus Launch Published on 16 June 2025 Member for Gregory Sean Dillion was pleased to announce, "Residents in the Blackall-Tambo Regional Council area will have greater access to public transport through an innovative trial of a free bus service in the region".
