Visitor Information
The Blackall-Tambo Region is supported by two Visitor Information Centres (VICs) that provide information, visitor services, and local knowledge for travellers exploring Outback Queensland. These centres also play an important role in supporting tourism development, distributing regional information, and assisting visitors travelling through the region.
Blackall Visitor Information Centre
The Blackall Visitor Information Centre is located within the Blackall Community Hub in the centre of town. The centre provides information about local attractions, events and experiences, along with a range of regional brochures and travel resources. The centre also hosts the Blackall Library.
The Blackall VIC manages registrations and payments for the Barcoo River Camp bush camping area and can post local information and brochures to visitors across Australia on request.
