The Indoor Cricket Centre located within the Blackall Showgrounds is a local sporting facility now open for community use following the completion of internal works. Designed to support casual practice, skill development and community recreation, the space provides a flexible all‑weather venue for cricket training and other sporting activities, like basketball, soccer and netball.

This covered facility is ideal for individuals, clubs, schools and community groups looking to practice batting, bowling and fielding away from the elements. Its sheltered design helps players of all ages continue to train year‑round, regardless of weather conditions.

  • Flexible layout that can accommodate individual, group or team sessions
  • Easy access via the Blackall Showgrounds

Bookings and hire:

The Indoor Cricket Centre is available for hire by the public. To enquire about availability, please contact the Council office on (07) 4652 6600. Council staff can provide all relevant documentation and answer any questions to assist you with your booking.
