Shopfront Renewal Program

Blackall-Tambo Regional Council is proud to launch the Shopfront Renewal Program, designed to support local businesses to enhance the saftey, accessibility and overall presentation of their shopfronts.

This initiative aims to strengthen our main streets, improve safety and accessibility, and create welcoming spaces that encourage locals and visitors to shop local and stay longer.

Successful applicants may receive co-funding of up to $15,000 to assist with eligible improvements, including:

  • Accessibility and safety upgrades

  • Signage improvements

  • External painting and façade enhancements

  • Landscaping and presentation works

  • Lighting, seating and shade elements

By investing in vibrant, attractive shopfronts, we’re investing in the future of our towns and local economy.
