The Blackall Community Hub is an inclusive community space funded by the Department of Communities, Housing and Digital Economy. The Centre supports residents by providing information, referrals, and opportunities to connect through local programs and activities. Often described as “a place where community connections happen”, it plays an important role in strengthening wellbeing and social connection across the Blackall region.

The Tambo Multipurpose Centre, also home to the Tambo Community Hub, offers a wide range of health, community, and government services to residents across the Tambo region. Managed by Council, the Centre supports the wellbeing of our community and promotes a healthy lifestyle for people of all ages. It is a welcoming, accessible space where residents can access essential services, connect with support networks, and participate in community programs.

Health & Wellness
Our health and wellness services support the physical and mental wellbeing of residents of all ages. Council works alongside groups like Western Queensland Primary Health Network (WQPHN), Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS), RESQ, North and West Remote Health (NWRH), private specialists, and Queensland Health Aged Care Assessment Teams (ACAT) to provide expert care. Services include:
