Funding opportunities can help businesses start, grow and invest in new ideas. Blackall-Tambo Regional Council shares information about available grants, funding programs and initiatives that may support local businesses and contribute to regional economic growth.
Funding opportunities are available from time to time through Council, Queensland Government and Australian Government programs. Eligibility, funding amounts and application requirements vary between programs, so businesses should review individual guidelines and requirements before applying.
Shopfront Renewal Program
The Shopfront Renewal Program supported local businesses to improve the safety, accessibility and presentation of their premises, helping create more welcoming main streets across the Blackall-Tambo region.
The program provided co-funding of up to $15,000 for eligible improvements, including:
- Accessibility and safety upgrades
- Signage improvements
- External painting and façade enhancements
- Landscaping and presentation works
- Lighting, seating and shade elements
