As part of its community programs, Blackall-Tambo Regional Council’s Tambo Hub recently hosted a fun-filled International Women’s Day Bingo evening at Mary and Martha’s Coffee House on Friday 6 March. The event brought the community together to celebrate, connect, and support local women in business.
Guests enjoyed delicious food and lively rounds of bingo, with plenty of laughter and friendly competition. Lucky door prizes added to the excitement, with several generously donated by Mary and Martha’s.
In keeping with the purple theme of International Women’s Day, attendees were treated to beautiful cupcakes from two talented local bakers, Natalie Dendle and Kerry Russell. The event also proudly supported a number of local businesses through the purchase of prizes.
A special shout-out goes to Beau Bailey, a young attendee who eagerly jumped on the microphone to help with the lucky door prize draws, bringing energy and smiles to the room.
The evening was a celebration of community spirit and appreciation for local women, with great company, delicious food, and plenty of bingo fun enjoyed by all.
These activities are a proud part of the initiatives of the Tambo Community Hub, and Blackall-Tambo Regional Council.
