The Tambo Stock Show is a much-loved outback tradition, bringing together the best of the region’s sheep, cattle and wool industry in a vibrant, family-friendly day at the Tambo Racecourse.
Held annually as one of the first events on the western Queensland show circuit, the Tambo Stock Show attracts graziers from across the region to showcase their finest livestock, alongside a full program of competitions and entertainment.
Visitors can enjoy sheep and cattle judging, campdraft and gymkhana events, as well as a wide range of pavilion competitions including cooking, arts, crafts and photography. The day is packed with activities for all ages, from kids’ races, petting zoos and market stalls to fashion parades, live music and a spectacular fireworks display to finish the night.
