The Tambo Multipurpose Centre, also home to the Tambo Community Hub, offers a wide range of health, community, and government services to residents across the Tambo region. Managed by Council, the Centre supports the wellbeing of our community and promotes a healthy lifestyle for people of all ages. It is a welcoming, accessible space where residents can access essential services, connect with support networks, and participate in community programs.

Services Available

Health & Wellness
Our health and wellness services support the physical and mental wellbeing of residents of all ages. Council works alongside groups like Western Queensland Primary Health Network (WQPHN), Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS), RESQ, North and West Remote Health (NWRH), private specialists, and Queensland Health Aged Care Assessment Teams (ACAT) to provide expert care. Services include:

Community & Government Services
Access essential community and government support in one convenient location. Council partners with agencies to ensure residents can connect with programs and services, including employment support through RESQ. Services include:

  • Centrelink Access Point
  • Online Self-Service Computers
  • Telephone & Documentation Verification Services
  • Legal Aid Access Point
  • Employment Services

Facilities & Other Services
The Centre provides flexible spaces and resources to support community programs, meetings, and personal needs:

  • Community Broadband Self-Service Kiosks
  • Consultant, Training, and Conference Rooms available for hire
  • Photocopying and Faxing
