School Holidays Program

Looking for ways to keep the kids entertained, active and engaged these school holidays? Blackall-Tambo Regional Council's School Holiday Program is packed with fun activities for children and young people of all ages across Blackall and Tambo.

From sporting activities and outdoor adventures to creative workshops, movie screenings and technology-based fun at the library, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Many activities are free to attend, making it easy for families to get involved and make the most of the holiday break.

Highlights include Scavenger Hunts in Blackall and Tambo, the Holiday Flick Fest at the Blackall Cultural Centre, the Palette Party with local artist Sandy McLean, and a range of sporting activities including junior cricket, touch football, soccer and run club sessions. The popular Click, Create & Play program will also be running throughout the week at Blackall Library, featuring free access to VR headsets, iPads, Nintendo Switch consoles, gaming tables and craft activities.
